Sigrun Hardardottir´s topics have often been the geothermal site which she has captured in paintings, video and sound.
Sigrun is currently showing her works at Listasafn Árnesinga in Hveragerdi Iceland. The title of the exhibition is "Hver / Gerði", which refers to the town's main industry, greenhouse gardening as a result of the town's geothermal activities.
Also it is worth to be mentioned is the exhibition “hver/hvar” in the Municipal Museum of Hafnarfjordur, Hafnarborg 1997, which according to the curator and art critic Jon Proppe is the first solo exhibition of Iceandic artist where the theme of the exhibition is the geyser.
Sigrun has exhibited her works in Iceland, Canada, Usa, France, The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, The Shetland Islands, Latvia, Hong Kong, and China.
Sigrun´s works are in the public collection of The National
Gallery of Iceand, Reykjavik Art Museum, Gerdarsafn (The Art Museum of Kopavogur), The National Bank of Iceland, The Reykjavík Energy Company, HS Orka Reykjanesbæ,

Mediakunst, (NIMK) (now LIMA).
